MEET THE AUTHOR

MacKenna started writing as soon as she learned how to spell and hasn't slowed down since. She studied Creative Writing at Bowling Green State University, graduating in 2022 with her MFA. 

Her work, though largely undiscovered, has been featured online in publications like Sad Girl Diaries literary magazine.  Her earlier work focused on themes of identity, personhood, and the intersection of reality and fiction. Although these influences are still present in her current writing, she now devotes herself to exploring them through fantasy and mythology. 

Her true passion is in the research and reimagination of Celtic mythology, which has grown to inhabit every corner of her life and creative practice.
